ZOMG EYE CONTACT FTW!!!So far, one of my favorite pages. :3 Poor Zuzu. He knows very well where this may end up going...
This is the page I meant to have up on Monday both to make up for my crazy updating, and also to give you guys a nice, well-rounded Cliff hanger. But then, school came around and I was swept into class schedules, not having my pencils/arsenal of pens at school, daily contact with my boyfriend, and after-school gaming.
But here it is for all to see, and I must say I'm rather proud of it from an artistic standpoint. The perspective in the big first panel was actually pretty well done, and I think I got their expressions spot on in the other two. >3 Zuko's eyes are so pretty >3<
So yes... Zutara....ZUTARA! WOOOT!!
BTW, Zutarians, as if you haven't heard by now, and have created a Zutara Meme. I am going to be trying to do that soon, and you should all do it too! That'd be fecking awesome!!
Also, there's an URSROH week coming up next week, I'll be pimping that later in my journal. Ursroh, for any in the dark, is the pairing of Iroh and Ursa, and one of my top Avatar ships aside from Zutara and Taang. Love it, love it. WOOT! can't wait!

And the suspence thickens. Nice work with this page in particular, with Zuko coming to the realization of who saved him and Katara realizing Zuko is awake.

You did really well with facial placement. What I mean is, when you draw eyes, they can end up all over the place (no offense to you, in a quickly paced sequence, it gives stress to the fact that they're moving and such), but here, they are perfectly placed, with a perfect angle for eye contact and focus.
