Description Alright, if you don't recognize this painitng, get your ass to a library and take out an art history text book, cos you're not an artist till you know this painting.
Oil on canvas
My scanner made it slightly yellowier than my painting really is...but I was going for that vintage look anyway

Yes, I know that painting! Right when I saw this, I was like wow... That looks like a replica! Very, very well done. The shadows and the highlights add to the magnificent-ness...! That's not a word, But now it is!

i think your colors are pretty close... though i'm not doing a side-by-side comparison-- just by my recolection... i give you that.
Not too sure about the anatomy of your reproduction though...

the wooden box looks nice.

Very, very nice copy. Did you crop off the bottom intentionally? If I remember correctly the knife was visible on the floor. But I might have forgotten.

Jaime.

oh, it couldn't all fit on the scanner...in the actual painting it has the knife and floor, and a wee bit more on either side too...

I love this painting,
I sketched it on my assignment paper in history instead of doing the actual work.
This is stunning...

Great job! Not only is it excellent, but it's done in oil paints(I can't use paint, period TT_TT) Oh Marat, your paranoia didn't go far enough, my revolutionary friend....
