Description I found this guy in Wikicommons named Julius C. He makes proposals for new flags and fantasy flags. Among his flags are flags for the oceans.

Since he did not yet made a flag for the South China Sea, or West Philippine Sea, I decided to make my own based on these flags.

I used this as a model. I made a red field to evoke the Chinese and Vietnamese flags. The yellow stars give the same effect; however, notice that there are three stars. The third star is intended to represent the Philippines, and it also evoke the three golden stars of its flag.

A really nice comprise! It represents all three flags and evokes the PRC's name for the territory, Sansha (三沙)
