"..Is better than none."Sym-Bionic Titan is one of the greatest cartoons I've seen in a while. Stunning animation, Amazing scenes, loveable characters, and an awesome plot; Thank you, Genndy Tartakovsky.
To be honest, I had my doubts. Upon seeing commercials and bits and pieces of the show, I was definately not interested in the least. But somehow I happened to watch an episode ( I think it was the most recent one- the "Lesson in Love" one) - just for the hell of it- and WHAM. I was hooked.
I love Lance, and Ilana; not even as an actual pairing (yet, haha) but just their relationship alone. Both characters have a lot to offer to the show and I love it. especially Ilana's fashion sense. hehe. She just makes me wanna dress her up
Also, the title is from the song "A Kiss With a Fist" is by Florence +the Machine. Very catchy, and in some way I think describes Ilana and Lance's (rough) relationship.
Bah, I'll stop rabbling..
So yes, I am in love with yet again. And I hope to post some more sketches and pieces up here soon. : )

Some day, they shall be together, granted it would kind of be aquward... because their playing brother and sister and if Lance started to date Illana well, kids at their school might think them just plain weird but for the views, it's amazing!!!! Sorry, I had to comment. :3

Yeah, its a great show, and I'm not only saying that because Samurai Jack is one of my favorite cartoons of all time. It manages to balance teen life, humor, and sci-fi surprisingly well, the actions scenes are well-directly and it already has loads of memorable moments. Xishi will haunt my nightmares for ever and how can you not love that fight scene against the Eldricht abomination of the week set to a sappy love song?
Speaking of which, the last episode has piqued my interest in Lance and Illana as a couple, but I'm still not sure how they'd pull it off with them posing as brother and sister. My guess is that they're secret identities will be revealed or they have to go back to Galgaluna. Then again, maybe its for the best that they don't hook up, given shows like Avatar and Ben 10 where ship wars overshadow the actual plot half the time.
Lastly, tonight's episode kicked ass!

I totally agree, it's a wonderful blend, like you said, of sci-fi, humor, and teen life. You're right so many good scenes and great moments.
As for Lance and Ilana as a couple, I think they're cute as a couple (as in the previous episode); but at the same time i just enjoy their cute-sy moments together even just posing as brother and sis. Don't know how they could/would pull it off, but either way I find the two (and Newton, as well) just fascinating characters. Either way is fine with me.
But yes, tonight's episode was so great! God, I feel like every week there's a new reason for me to love this show!

Man, the trailers were a real hit or miss, weren't they? I for one was PSYCHED for this cartoon thanks to them, but other fans say that they were the reason they took so long to actually give it a chance.
