so i love the Fionna and cake episode, and i saw the great pic of fionna and marshall lee and it really inspired mepic here: [link]
but i could find one of finn and marceline, i saw on of marceline and marshall lee tho, so i decided to make it
I WOULD LOVE SOME FEED BACK ON MY NEW COLORING STYLE!! it would be very much appreciated!

I actually really like this. It's more realistic. Good job! And don't worry about forgetting his backpack. I always mess up Marcie's Axe Bass, it happens.

This is very nice!! Your coloring is very nice! I like the colors and the backround is stunning! The only thing is that you might want to make the shadows darker so theres more contrast between light and dark. Also I agree with a previous comenter that highlights would make it look nice as well. I hope that helps! This piece is awesome otherwise! Keep up the good work!

I love your drawing style~! The coloring was very powerful especially the background!
The only thing I think you should have done was add some "highlights"/lighting on the characters to make them seem more "bright", since the color of the clouds kinda distracts me from the characters.
All in all, this is an awesome pic~!!

I've never used Sai, so i'm not sure if it's similar to Photoshop in terms of its program.

that's good to hear! its awesome they have those kinds of classes at your school, we just have comp. graphics, which i took and its quite fun :3 it taught me a little about Photoshop, like how to navigate it. and i belive that most professionals use Photoshop for work so its good your already so talented at it.

Yeah~ I love art but i'm glad they decided to put me in Digital Design instead, it's such a fun class~!
There are so many things you can do with Photoshop (most things I probably would be too lazy to figure out, haha), but I'm content with just using it for artwork. I mean, I love drawing!

We had a choice on our electives~! :3
It's just that there are limits to how many people they can put in a certain class so you usually add in "back-up" classes in the list they give you, just in case you don't get to be in a specific class you wanted.

oh heck yea xD theres this seniority rule where seniors get first pick, then juniors and so on and so on, then on top of that u have to schedule with you homeroom teacher at the end of the year to plan a meeting with your home room teacher and your parent to go over your schedule for next year THEN you go and get a bunch of signatures from the different department heads and then you go wit in line for an hour and get your schedule entered in the computer, all the while their calling over the inter-com classes that have closed, then you have to rearrange your schedule D: its a huge mess

Well, generally the 9th graders at my school (like me) get first pick. Then the district separates the students into what classes they picked (from the student with the highest grade and down), then if the class is full they see if the student can be in the second class they picked from the list and so on.

the fights it seems to only happen to a few, but its like a repetitive kind of thing, its like the same fight over the same thing, between the same people, its pretty boring xD
im friends with pretty much everyone, or i have some kind of tie to them, even the rich kids xD but there's always that problem of relating to one another
and middle school drama is always the funniest xD, well most of the time anyway

i love having intellectual conversations with the "nerds/geeky" ppl in my school, one of my closest friends fit in that category so its natural.
