Description Hi! I made this sheath for my "stiletto" dagger for the next Warhammer LARP event in November; I draw inspiration from the late italian Renaissance armor decorations. I also replaced the grip with a leather one in order to amtch the color of the sheath, and give the weapon a better look.

It's made of 7oz (2,6mm) veg-tanned leather, hand tooled, with brass rivets

Wonderful. Do you have a pic of the stiletto itself?

Very cool. Did you bought it or did you built it yourself?

Bought it from a friend,  I can guess it's a Freyhand weapon. The handle though was quite slippery, so I've removed and crafted a new one from 5oz leather, dyied it and glued on the handle in order to have a better grip

Nice. I asked because I want to build a stiletto myself for my renaissance nobleman. Still thinking about how to do it, I want to try zipties in the blade.

That could be a good idea, never thought about zipties. A friend of mine used a hardened leather core for his baselard, in order to achieve resitance and flexibility, making the dagger safe even with thrusts (and exetremely useful in close quarter, or as a secondary weapon)

Yes, I use them allready in crossguards and now you are able to use them. If you parry with the crossguard close enough to the blade, it holds stand and doesn't bend away as fast as usual. Take a look on my weapons, the shortsword and the rapier are build with zipties.

A really good work indeed

I'll keep it in mind, thank you for the idea!
