For Zimeta 's contest . (You should totally enter because she's awesome and her characters are awesome and her prizes are awesome!)

I really loved her comic May The Rain Come (spoilers ahead,) especially how well she portrayed Sonia. Near the middle-end of the story, Will's house is burglarized and Will saves Sonia from the robbers. Sonia, by her true nature and forgetfulness, then saves Will. Sometimes, amazing character development is best suggested by a lack of development--old habits die hard. I highly recommend the read.

But I think some of my watchers know how I like to ruin things and wring you dry of your emotions, neh?
What if Sonia did remember Will's instructions to stay put? What if she never saved him? The hurricane of emotions would be too much for Sonia to handle, I'd imagine (I mean, people of typical cognizance would be overwhelmed,) and she wouldn't know what to do with herself. Would she go looking for Will? Would she shut down entirely? No doubt the world would lose all of its color.
