Join the club! I kept wondering who is this guy was with the legs that went on forever!!! I didn't know his name at the time of Amazing Grace but, when I did hear his name, it still didn't tell me anything. When he was linked to Sherlock AND I saw his face and finally heard his name, I started to wonder where I saw that face before. It then hit me--AMAZING GRACE!!!

By the by, that hymn is great when it's played on the pipes!!!

Yes, I did hear it at the end of the movie. I've got the DVD. Now, is just me or did Benedict look skinnier than he did in the first season of Sherlock? I mean, he looked like a beanpole! Please don't think I'm insulting him for I dearly love the man. I mean, this is a guy who's probably heard every skinny joke going!!!

He was excellent as William Pitt, the Younger.

Oh, might I cautiously assume that you watch Sherlock? If you do, I've got a couple of pieces of news for you. 1) They've finally starting shooting season 3. There should be two suns in the sky. 2) According to Moffat, the first episode is to be titled, "The Empty Hearse."

This begs the question: How in the name of all that's holy did Sherlock fake his funeral?

Yes, I watch Sherlock avidly; probably seen both season two or three times now. I've been keeping an eye on Mark Gatiss' twitter, as well as any news stories I can get my hands on from the UK, and was alerted to the fact that they've started filming Series three (cue ecstatic fangirling). And yes, because of this news, I think the sky deserves a second sun.

I have no idea how he did it, though apparently there were clues in that last scene of Reichenbach (Gatiss said so). I leave it up to Moffat, that brilliant man, to tell us all how Sherly managed to defy gravity and not smash his brains in.

NEWSFLASH--if you don't know already--THEY'VE STARTED FILMING SEASON THREE YESTERDAY--I REPEAT--FILMING FOR SHERLOCK SEASON 3 STARTED YESTERDAY.

No, I didn't mean Sherlock's actual death. I meant the actual funeral service. Let's see...must find another corpse that's close to Sherlock's actual weight. It would be an absolute must for it to be a CLOSED CASKET service so nobody would find out our dear detective is still amongst the living.

This is the Tumblr of a med student who writes an extremely well thought out article of the pros and cons of Sherlock's faked suicide.

You remember seeing how his face was still intact? According to Wellingtongoose, the med student, the facial bones and the skull are very fragile and, if it's a fall from a ten storey building or a good beating, they will break as easily as an eggshell, ergo; Sherlock should've been a mess complete with oozing blood AND brain matter. He only had the oozing blood.

Read the rest of it. He's got it nailed, point by point. As a med student, he knows from where he's coming.

Some fans seem to think that it was simply a squash ball. It was the one he was playing with in the morgue before his "death."

Yes, Molly had her part in it just as Mycroft had his but Molly, being a histopathologist, had to be extremely careful with the paperwork and such or she'd have given the game away.

That aside, hang onto something solid. Yes, it was Sherlock on the pavement, but what about this? What if it wasn't Sherlock who jumped at all? What if it was Irene Adler?

Okay, picture this. You're walking on THAT STREET and you just happen to look up at St. Bart's roof. You see against the daylight sky a figure in a long dark coat that looks a lot like Sherlock's. You don't know if it's male or female. All you know is that h/she is about ready to take the big dive.

I saw this very thing in ASiB. Sherlock was watching her fall through a window with the drapes held back a tad.

There's a lot more stuff out there. The theories are coming out of the woodwork and, remember, it's been a year since Reichenbach.
