Some time ago I'd come up with an AU idea for MfoMT; Kai being a merman who was only permitted to step on land/Mineral Town for the summer season, otherwise he'd turn into seafoam. Of course he met the new farmgirl, Claire, one year and eventually began to research how he could be human all year round...I just remembered it again recently and wanted to draw something for it.
