phew.. ok first of all this is my first real try in digital painting.. i liked how the nereid(sea nymph) tuned out although it looks like shes made out of ice instead of water...*sigh* im not really satisfied with the backgrounds but anyhoo i know i still got a long way to go to get things right so feel free to post some critiques and advice.paiter 9

OH YEAH!!! another fan! its not evident in my gallery but I love that stuff. The Greek/Roman mythoogy (which the romans stole from the greeks) I love all the Gods...pretty awesome!

that's beautiful work, u might just try with some softer blues to make it more watery but all in all, I think u did a tremendous job.

Actually, to add some thoughts (a more proper critique if you will), I love the way you've done the clouds, very light and smooth and the colors you chose gave the sky just the right texture. I agree with people above the movement in this is great, especially simulating the waves, and the only thing I think would make this a better artwork is, as tartleigh suggested, to blend the colors together a bit more on her skin area, and to make larger blends together in the waves.

She is awesome, I love everything about her, the pose is great! The clouds are amazing, and I love the strokes, but it might be nice to see some of those strokes blurred together a bit more; not the whole thing because then it would just look too smooth, which is how mine usually turn out
