i worked on this late into the night so i could get it finished and in to ~JonnyBlackmage . it's for a comic/animation he's making.This is Maggie. she is sweet, innocent and very naive. loves being helpful. very timid, and not exactly the greatest in a battle. also, outside of White magic, she is not as intelligent as you would expect a mage to be.
also for a secondary job, she is a Bard.**Due to the age of this image(2 years or older) comments have been disabled**

Very very remindes me of Final Fantasy III DS White Mage job.
To be honest with you, it's fucking hard to make a great looking colouring in Flash, due to its lack of colouring opitions, which are in Photoshop. Flash is only good for cel shading and cartoonish graphics.

i haven't had a chance to play FFIII on the DS yet 
yes, i tried to make some colored images on Flash, but it's really hard to...but it makes really beautiful line art.

Interesting.......White Mage, I am more of a Sorceror(form Final Fantasy 5) who uses Sword Magic, like Flare Sword or Ice Sword as exsamples.

as much as i wish it didn't, a white mage just suits my personality more....so, that's why i chose it ^^
and I chose the Bard as a secondary because O_o it's a BARD!! they are always so useless and so easy to get humor from....

I wanted to keep it traditional to a early White Mage costume, so that's why there is no color change on it....plus white and pink look alot cuter together...

i was going to give her something like a flute, (due to the bard thing) but it somehow turned into a rod...that turned into a staff...

Final Fantasy...i think
I've actually played Final Fantasy I&II Dawn of Souls for awhile.
It actually wasn't half bad
I've never really been an FF fan, but I am considering getting FFIII for my DS
And a White Mage can be useful in the games that let you pick classes.
Okay enough of my nerdy comments
Now to the art
Flash seems to be serving you extremely well.
You seem to have intentionally broken the lines in certain areas which is extremely creative.
Bravo!

Me: NO I DON'T!!! I own four Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior for the older ones) games and no Final Fantasy games! If I liked FF more, do you think I would have Dragon Quest I,II,II, and VIII in my collection?

Me: Dragon Quest is my favorite turn based RPG, and don't you ever worry your pretty little head about that.

Dragon Quest Monsters is an excellent series.
It dates all the way back to the late nineties for the Gameboy color.
I've played a little of the series, but don't own any of them.
But Rocket Slime looks like a ton o' fun!
Joker looks like it's going to be an excellent game.
The screens I've seen really seem to grasp the true 3-D power of the DS.
Also, Dragon Quest IX is coming out as a DS exclusive! Boo-Ya!!!
Just one more reason to own the best dang handheld on the market today.

I was supposed to get a DS looooong ago... I really need one...
but yes, I am so excited about DQIX!!! I'm a little worried about the real time battle system though....
turn based games are what I grew up with....it'll just take some time to get used to i suppose...

I actually just got a hold of a DS Lite (Yay for me!)
But get this,
I had the option of buying used, which is a little cheaper, but the only used DS Lite Gamestop had... WAS PINK!!!
PINK!!!!
So I had to buy a new white one, which drained a major chunck of my account.
So other than me being annoyed, give Gamestop a try. They had the Wii for me and now they came through with the DS Lite.

You made the background in Photoshop, didn't you? I remember making these types of backgrounds in my Computer Tech classes.
As for the lines, I have no experience in Flash, so I honestly cannot tell. It does look good though!
