I know the title sucks. Hah. Some friends and I were having a casual "paint night" where we watch cheesy 90s movies, eat lots of snacks, and paint. This guy is on an 8x10" canvas--so small! those freaking details I wanted to put in but couldn't! Gah!Anyway, here's Aethon being his typical awesome self. Someone needs to remind him he isn't invincible. (Maybe Daemre? Hmmmm... ;D)

I know you said you wanted to put more detail into this, but I really like the fact that this is simplified a bit. It makes it all the more dynamic, especially since the big focal point of this that my eyes are immediately drawn to is the orange/red hair. Overall its a super effective image, and I think that's in part because of the contrast between the two main areas of color. Then those subtle yellow highlights on the figures really make the figures pop from the blue even more. Great work!

It was definitely a challenge working with such a small canvas! I'm thinking I might render this one digitally someday.
