I love how much contrast there is between the shadows and the highlights In my work I tend to make everything a muddy middle-grey with almost no distinction between the shadows and the highlights. It is somthing I am trying to change

It all needs practice I think, and careful observation of what you wish to draw I tend to imagine some parts of the drawing and this isn't the best way, since then the shadows or other things aren't what they look naturally
