I upload cosplay pictures EVERYWHERE, so why not upload them to my DA as well?The majority of this costume was constructed by a seamstress from the New England area. I took care of the fabric/materials selection, and the accessories.
See all of that silver stuff that trims ALL the edges? Yeah. I cut that out of YARDS of silver vinyl and formed it into bias trim. Because silver vinyl bias trim cannot be purchased, ya know...

Thanks! The fabric was a suraline gabardine - very well suited for the tailored nature of military uniforms -- as long as you use interfacing/shoulder-pads where needed for the correct foundational structure.
And sing my own hair was the easiest way to get the look right... fortunately, I'm naturally light-haired. (Yes- I do tone out my roots for the right shade, but its pretty easy to maintain.)
This pic was taken 7 years ago... and I've actually recently worn this costume again.
Still fits, and my hair still works! (I'm just OLDER... LOL!!)

Yeah. It was actually pretty funny. It was moreso back in '07 when I first posted it but it still pops up occasionally. Its old news now.
I almost wanted to take bets on how fast it would pop up when a FMA thread was posted.
