Well, today's the lovely Garnet's birthday (01/15), and here I go producing a speed sketch of her to celebrate. This time, in her royal dress; I really love the design and had a greatest pleasure of drawing it. Oh me gosh, the details!
Since I got extra time, I took the liberty to add in some canaries to hint the reference of her favorite play that always performed on her birthday, in addition to add more yellow to keep the analogous color scheme flowing. Yellows-greens-blues, for the win! 
Happy Birthday, Queen of Alexandria!
PS: This is seriously the best speed sketch I had ever done, so I am considering framing it.
