This Captain America piece was so much fun to ink! Now this is a true Marvel Hero. Too bad others don't feel the same...You can see the original piece here:

The original pencils were completed by my husband, Jeremy Dale. It is so much fun working over a blue line copy of Jeremy's pencils. The shield was a little difficult to do-- it was hard finding a circle template that big!

Honestly- you either have an eye for inking (and that includes deciding which lines stay or go) or you don't and you seem to have the eye for inking. Good work- I look forward to meeting you (both) at HeroesCon and if not there then definitely at Return of Mini-Con a couple weeks later!

And yeah, it's a lot easier to interpret lines when you can have the penciller looking over your shoulder.

No, I didn't make Heroes this year- my wife had a bloodclot in her leg so I stayed home and cooked, cleaned and watched the kids during the weekend.
I do look forward to seeing you and Jeremy at The Return of Mini-Con on the 25th!

Man Kelly - I just can't believe how good you have become. I am so jealous - I've been working at it for years and my inks aren't half this good. I hope to see you guys work on more together in the future.

Jeremy is having me practice on some of his old sequential art from Trust. It is certainly easier to ink a pinup! heh
