Not a hibiscus and not a tiny flower. The pods that the flowers emerge from are about the size of an old 50cent NZ coin (but spherical, of course).

I did leave in 2009, but they had only just got rid of the 5c coins and the 10c were definitely NOT copper, and in my change in Canada I still have a large 50c and 20c.
