so here is my oc and the tribe she comes from
Name: Branwenn
race: Elven
element: air
animal that she controls: Raven
genral character info
she was born on the winter solstice durning a new moon, making her a very power dark magic user ( able to use magic durning the phases of the moon leading up to her most powerful time the new moon)
her hair and eyes are as dark as a moonless night her skin white as winter

The moon tribe
most born to the moon tribe are dark skinned with white/sliver hair and eyes, though sometimes those born on the new moon have dark hair and pale skin.
magical ability of the tribe depends on what phase of the moon the person was born under, those born under the full and new moons become priests/priestess of the village as they have the strongest abilities. the tribe is based on a class system (but instead of money class is based on magical ability) some of other upper class groups are the warriors and artistians.
they are a very long lived race, it takes a while for them to get mature enough to have childern, there is also a problem with space so briths are rare

the moon tribes home
it located in a deep woods surrounded by mountians, there is a cave in the mountain that lead to the meadow from the outside world. a river runs on the southern side of the meadow. the trees that grow here have white bark and greyish green and sliver leaves in the middle of these trees is a tree that is over 2,000 years old, it is bent and twisted with beautiful almost iradecent bark and silver leaves that gitter in the sun. in spring it has large white flowers that look like roses. around the trunk of the tree are craved the pharses of the moon under the craving of the full moon is a gateway which only opens to those who know the magic words, once inside there are stairs that lead to the catacombs where the moon tribe live (looks a bit like an ant fram) the catacombs expands about 2 miles in every diection away from the tree (it is also the same area as all the other white trees).
