Birthday gift for Dragonanne ! This is sort of last minute (since I wasn't really checking dA a whole lot last week and missed the early birthday reminder), but I tried to make it look nice! I also tried my hand at making a handmade lens flare instead of relying on photoshop, so hopefully it looks decent
I'm so glad that I've gotten to know you this year, and I'm very excited to see your comic progress! You've got such unique character designs and ideas, and I'm glad that I've got someone to gush over Clone Wars and Green Lantern TAS with, haha! Hope you have a terrific birthday!

Most dramatic, I love that you were brave enough to draw intense back lighting but also made her face visible enough so it's not just a silhouette. I also like the epic lens flare *blinded*

Thank you! I'll admit that I had to wrestle with the lighting a bit to make sure that the shading didn't cancel out the colored lineart (which I've done in the past and looks pretty bad D
I'd like to practice with more "homemade" lens flares in the future--they turn out better than what photoshop has to offer!

B) I have already gushed about this on other places, but I'm gonna go ahead and gush here too. This is sooooooo pretty and the lighting is so very dramatic and the colors are gorgeous and and and....it's gonna be my knew screen saver so that I can look at it foreeeevvvvveerrrrr. Thank you!!!
