This is highly considered a classic movie, but I do have one big gripe with it: I strongly dislike how the cowardly lion was portrayed. In the books, each of the characters did things that went against what they "didn't have." The Scarecrow was pretty smart, despite not having a brain. The Tin Woodsman was very considerate, despite not having a heart, and the lion did brave acts, despite not having courage. In the movie, I thought the Scarecrow and Tin Woodsman were well portrayed, but not the Cowardly Lion.
...Also, the Cowardly Lion is not a biped. (Although it would have been really hard to make a quadrupedal lion work out at the time.)
