Description
I'm walking around in the woods, just clearing my mind. The camera is strapped to my back, sun is about to set.I walk along the shore of a small lake, looking for something interesting to capture the sunset with.
I spot something, a house, with a beautiful path down towards the water. Nobody is home. No permission granted. Private.

I thank I recognize this place from you previous work.
Critique: not much, the one thing I have to say is that I think the bottom part should be silhouette's sis aswell.
I love the color palette, works very well but I think the bottom part is to unnaturally saturated. The place to took to capture look very pure , that's only thing that bothers me.
Good side: I really love the serene mood you captured here, the reflections work very well, and the focus (the woody pier really make me want to stand there) really works.

Thanks mate, yea you're right there about the foreground. I was torn over to use the 2 shot exposure fully or not. It looks a bit better now when I've taken away some of the 2nd exposure. It's a bit darker now.

the critique I was reading suggested that the shore be in silhouette too, but that would be a manipulation of the photo, and as far as I am concerned, it would detract from the beauty of the pic.
This is simply gorgeous. It must have been nearly a spiritual experience to see it and capture it.

This is a 2 shot exposure that's been blended together since it's impossible to take 1 photo and get a bright sky and a dark foreground synced, you need 2 exposures here and then blend it together to represent reality as it was shown.
This is about as close as 100% can get

Nicely done. The wide angle accentuates the sweep of the sky. The reflections are wonderful. The boat dock leading into the pic shows good composition. It is a well executed and more importantly beautiful photograph.
