WTH how have I not posted anything about this AU on this account??? What the hell????? I was literally obsessed over this AU for months hOW?

Just gonna copy-paste from my tumblr:
Basically, Tadashi survives the fire and comes back as Sunfire, however, he is very dangerous and unstable. His mental state destabilized greatly over time as loneliness and fear caused him to break. He has visible ‘quirks’ (to be put lightly) such as irrational bursts of anger and bouts of insanity. And on top of that he has amnesia, as in he remembers nothing (which is part of the reason as to why he cracked). Not his name, not his family or friends or anything.
So when the Big Hero 6 go out on a call of distress to stop Sunfire…
Sunfire sees them and their faces evoke foreign feelings in him that he doesn’t understand. (Love, guilt, pain, horror)
It’s all confusing and he doesn’t like it.
Sunfire kicks their asses easily, even ends up fatally injuring one of the members (Wasabi, man, I’m sorry. I love you but you gotta go).
None of the Bh6 have any weapons to counter Tadashi/Sunfire so it’s nearly impossible to hurt him, much less stop him, and not only that but they don’t want to hurt him. Not after realizing who he is (or who he used to be).
As time passed Sunfire begins to realize that there are many people who make him feel this pain in his chest and he eventually comes to a conclusion. In order to make it go away, make the terrible confusion and pain go away…he had to eliminate each and every single one of them. The Bh6, the woman who ran the Lucky Cat Cafe…even that ridiculous looking marshmallow robot that he saw hanging around the group–
And he was so jealous of them too. Why couldn’t he go out in public like that? Why couldn’t he laugh and be happy like they were? Oh. That’s right. Because he was liable to burn anything and everything that he touched.
And so he proceeds to pick them off one by one. First the woman he came to know as Aunt Cass, then the boy in the lizard costume called Fred…
And he couldn’t forget that woman. What was her name again?
Oh right. Abigail.
In a last attempt to defeat Sunfire, Hiro and the remaining members of the team (Honey Lemon and Gogo) make a weapon only to realize at the last second that the chemical (which was similar to a parasite) could not survive long without a host
They could see Sunfire on the monitors. Oh god no he’d burnt the metal of the entrance door off…. and he was walking… no running… down the corridors getting closer and closer
Having little to no time left (and nothing to lose), Hiro has Honey Lemon inject it into himself.
The whole process is incredibly painful and traumatizing, to put it mildly,
The blue fluid running through his veins felt like fire. So much… So much… And then the screaming. Oh god the screaming was the worse. He nearly went deaf from his own screams.
The chemical (which will now be called what it is, a parasite) changed him down to the very double helix of his DNA.
“Oh my god, Gogo is that a Sextuple Helix?! This is going to far, he’s in pain–!!”
“We don’t have time for this Honey!! He can do this! Shut up and keep injecting! Another 500ml!”
“But he’s already up to 2000–”
“JUST DO IT!!”
His body changed down to his very molecular structure which degenerated into that of a semi-transparent water like substance. And he gained many abilities on top of his new form ( Hydrokinesis, able to change his shape, able to change the density of the liquid making up his new body, etc).
His new form gave him both an advantage and an disadvantage to Sunfire’s abilities. In short bursts of energy and quick attacks Hiro could take him down and/or weaken him. However, if he is exposed to Sunfire’s natural solar flare energy for a long period of time it could quickly weaken him.
And so the two become the deadliest of enemies
“You killed all of our friends and the last member of our family… you’re not Tadashi anymore… YOU WILL DIE!”
((For those who are starting to wonder how Hiro’s abilites would be useful at all because Sunfire could just turn the water to steam, well, due to the fact that Hiro’s ‘parasite’ was made to directly combat Sunfire, the boiling and vaporizing point of his being is much higher than normal water. Like much much higher.))
