Yup. This is me at my most sexiest.I had a really hard time trying to make this as realistic as possible without actually cutting my head off.
I really appreciate any comments that can help me improve this one further. I think I am done with it, but I'd still love to make improvements if it is possible to get done and printed before Monday!
I have been looking at it for so long that I cant see whats good and bad any more.

I'm sure this was from a long time ago and you probably don't need critiques on it, but this really looks fantastic to me. I love the way the face is smushed up against the glass. It gives you the feeling of being watched even though the head is clearly deceased. My only criticism of this is that compared to the amount of rotting the head has endured the hat looks too red and new, which takes me out of it a bit. It needs something sludgy and black on the edges and to have faded out in color to give it that look like it's been sitting with the head a long time.

The only flaw I can see is the lighting on the material behind the head, inside the jar. It's a rag, I guess, though I first thought it was loose skin.

Not sure where you mean? the jar is really placed inside the cabinet, only the head has been put in after.

-Where the cloth(?) on the inside of the jar meets the height of the chin, but in the neck. That area. I'd think it was behind the head, and would therefore be darkened by its shadow. I wouldn't have looked for it if you hadn't asked, and probably not noticed, either.

omg this is SO wrong!! haha it's incredibly shocking and realistic! really good idea and perfect technique. i would have made the beanie a bit moldy though, it looks too fresh compared to your face

in my how ever many years of looking at manips on devart, i really have to say this is one of the best i've seen.

Haha, damn, that's just plain morbid! I like! Some suggestions for improvement:
- Less saturation on the top of the head/hat
- Work with the water, maybe add some few small bubbles.
- Also the transition between where the face is pressed against the glass and the rest of the water is a little bit too brutal (?)
- Add some small reflections towards the viewer on the jar.
- Add some more dirt (yes, I am a dirt fan
yeah, other than that, it's cool. Maybe I have to try and make some parody on this, which I've done to many other artists on this site, ha ha

I dont think I'm going to do anything with this picture any more, but I like your tips! I was trying to make bubbles but I couldn't do it
I got an A on it though
I also like the idea of making dirt on the top of the jar, If I feel like it one day, I'll probably try it out
