Everyone's favorite robot/squishie pairing/heterosexual life partners. I have fallen madly in love with this series of games again, and I just had to draw this. The title says it all though really; this is sappy fluff with no purpose except to make you go 'aww...'Related content

βShall we?β Ratchet asked Clank.
Clank nodded, standing alongside Ratchet.
They walked to the center of the room and stood in front of each other. Ratchet bent down and picked up Clank, making a fist for him to hold onto as he put his arm on his back. For Ratchet, Clank weighed nothing, and for the situation, he wouldnβt have cared how much he weighed. Clank grasped Ratchetβs fist, and put his hand on Ratchetβs left forearm, holding himself up easily.
Emily began playing, and Ratchet swayed slightly, flowing into an even paced dance, little Clank merely hanging, but loving it all nonetheless. They looked at each other at even height, their eyes locked into each other. Ratchet lowered his head halfway between them, and Clank did too, touching his best friend between the eyes. The piano rolled on, and the friendβs merely danced, loving every moment.
Clank felt Ratchetβs warm breath against him, and Ratchet felt the icy chill of Clankβs hand. They both loved the attributes they each had, and it felt so right to admit that to themselves. Ratchet titled his head down a little, kissing Clank gingerly on his metal lip. Clankβs antenna shone, and he chuckled that hearty chuckle Ratchet loved so much.
βRatchetβ¦β Clank said softly.
βClankβ¦β Ratchet whispered, holding Clank even closer until they could be considered hugging.
I love you. It wasnβt said, but it didnβt need to be as the piano became silent.
Ah... just something, nay, the thoughts, that came to [my] mind, as I beheld this into viewing...
Was so cheesy of me to say, admit?

Ratchet/Clank is such an obvious ship that I am
always saddened by the lack of material for 'em,
but it's stuff like yours, that makes it worth it all.
Wonderful, just wonderful.
It is like the most apparent and obvious words do
not need to be spoken in [t]here, because they're
already said by each others actions.

Oh yes. I definitely agree. I am always amazed that more slashers aren't shipping these two, because you're right; it's just so obvious and so incredibly sweet.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It is a shame people overlook such obvious facts, because
really, surely there must be a reason that Ratchet's and Clank's relationship is the -only-
one that has withstood the test of time? Where all else failed, these two always prevailed,
each time getting closer and closer. I think, R&C:ACiT was a pretty given example of that,
as was the Future series as a whole.
God, really, when you think about it, they just seem so perfect for each other.

Yeah. ACiT had so much amazingly sweet and fluffy slash potential, especially for Ratchet and Clank. I did notice that there were a few other quite obvious/canon slash pairings in the Future trilogy which no-one seems to be paying any attention to.
The two main boys really are perfect for each other though. :3

Ha ha ha! Yay. I'm so glad I'm not the only one that spotted all of those, although I did sort of lean more towards slightly one-sided Sigmund/Orvus than Sigmund/Clank, and Ratchet/Alister just creeps me out.

Ha ha. Yeah, they are so cute. I couldn't help but giggle and squee at all their Pirate Radio stuff in Crack in Time. I just love the fact that Pete still loves his Cap'n even though he's just a head on a stick.
I should really draw these two one day as well. I almost very nearly devoted my Nanowrimo to them this year too, but I decided to do something a bit more legitimate. Maybe next year?
