I think when Aluna returns next, she should be over trying to become champion. She lost so many times trying to become champion and prove that she deserves the role. This final defeat makes the title of Ultra Woman sick to her.
Her motivation should now be about causing Ultra Woman to experience the pain of losing something close of equal importance.
Imagine if Ultra Woman returned from being away on a mission in space, and discovered that Aluna had stolen her boyfriend.

I actually have an idea for their next encounter but I could also see Aluna going after one of her friends or her daughter to get revenge...but she has not given up her idea of getting the tiara and becoming champion...so she will try that one more time, then revenge after that

Ultra Woman should watch her back in case Aluna'a obsession becomes even more warped and she perhaps hires a few villains to take our heroine away and dump her. Beautiful work on Aluna'a face - she does look like a lovely black woman slowly going nighty night.

Thus perish all imposters! ok, Tania didnt kill the crazy mare but Aluna will think twice before trying to take Ultra Womans tiara again! Of course, she could always enlist the help of the Villainess Ultra Woman; would Tania be able to take them both? Unlikely! lol!

Oh Aluna will return some day...they always do! And I have some ideas...but it is too soon. Aluna cannot return too soon, villains have to wait a while before they return more dangerous than ever!
