Hehehe - I wanted to do a Christmas picture, but Snape refused to let me draw him in a santa hat. But that reminded me of this scene from Azkaban where Snape gets (ironically) a hat with a dead bird on it out of his Christmas cracker. He didn't want it, but Dumbledore put it right on!Technically, it was supposed to be a buzzard or something on the hat, but I thought this duck/dove/goose thing was more pleasant and festive. Snape knows you can't get TOO disgusted with your employer . . . but sometimes it's soooo hard not to.

That was an amusing part of the book! Nice cartoon.
Specifically, Snape got a vulture-topped hat exactly like the one the Boggart wore when it turned into him in Neville's grandmother's clothes. Snape, of course, was greatly disturbed by this coincidence...and to spare Snape the embarassment Dumbledore swapped hats with him.

One of my favourite Snape/Dumbledore scenes, and this is a great picture of it. I keep coming back to look at it and have a laugh so I might as well fave it! I think it's a stuffed vulture in the book... Snape and Dumbledore had such a wierd relationship, they really were chalk and cheese, and yet they totally depended on each other. Dumbledore *loved* to take the rise out of Snape at every opportunity and Snape constantly questioned Dumbledore's decisions.
It's all just so sad! *stray tear*

I'm re-reading "prisoner of azkaban" and i came across this lovely scene just a few days ago. It's so sad that this scene wasn't in the movie. We don't see enough of Snape in the movies, in my opinion.

This was always one of my favourite scenes, and the way thsi turned out is... pure delight.
The expressions for both Mr Bumblebee and Le Snape are perfect in outcome (In my most humble opinion) and I was very upset that they cut this out of the movie. Dumbledore is odd and happy, the way he should be,

So if I got it right he gets such a hat in the 3rd movie? *confused* I should really see the 3rd movie, especially now that I've seen the other ones as well...
but that's so funny - getting the hat with the bird! Good thing Dumbledore wanted it though... perhaps Sev would be more pleased with a hat with a spider on it?

What happened to Dumbledore?
for the first three books he was so zany and kwirky, not quite with it and kinda nuts. and then all of a sudden Voldemorts back and his all with the grumps and the not being loopy.
Logicaly we have to take Dumbledore more seriously now that theres a real danger afoot, but I still don't think Rowling should sacrifice his beging of term words. I like random word satisfaction!
Thank you for fan-arting Dumbleydore in one of his more quirky moments, I appreciate it.
