I'm a Starscream fan & I just HAD to draw him sooner or later...any fan probably would. This actually started out as a doodle so everything was done straight on the canvas, no layers ('cept for the glowing eye) Harder, yes, but maybe it was for the better, no complicated overlaping....Took about 10hrs. when it shouldn'tve taken that long. Spent too much time on miniscule details of the face that I got too lazy by the time I reached his shoulder things. I would have & it would've been interesting to finish the rest of the body but I still need to start on my portfolio... Many things in this pic you can find proportionaly wrong, hope its not too noticable.

i'm a big fan of strascreams as well, maybe we talk about him and transformers.
your picture of him is sooooo good, he's so detailed and just right. i can't think of much else to say about him, words alone can't describe how could that is.

I'm trying to look at Starscream's face and take mental notes on how to shape his helmet properly, but I keep getting sidetracked by the utter prettiness of it and end up squeeing instead. There must be a moral somewhere in this. It probably has something to do with trying to learn anatomy by looking at something sexy, and why one shouldn't do that.
Very, very good. And anatomically correct. Now, back to attempting to learn Screamer's face. Should probably go find a less distracting image...
