Just really felt the need to do something for myself considering it's been ages since I did

idk not fully happy with how this turned out not even sure what I was thinking anymore ;;;
probably coz I marathoned my way through the first two seasons of BBC Sherlock while at it
Final statement: Blonde hair is difficult, the end.

In comparison to a lot of your drawings, Aria looks incredibly matured here! Her facial proportions are high and long, like those of a grown woman, and honestly, it is beautiful to see + Q +

*Blows the dust off myself* Well considering it's been ages since you did something for yourself, I guess it's only appropriate I comment on it since it's been ages since I did that too.
Despite you not being fully happy with how this turned out, I do see a lot of things working for this piece. The lips do seem to be pretty well defined, even in spite of their size; I've noticed Aria's never really been one to have the big, luscious lips (unlike, oh say, Raelin) , so keeping the lips' shapes well defined even though they're smaller, more subtle lips definitely shows a sign of improvement. The expression also seems like one you don't do; while you're often one to go with a smiling expression, the softer, more relaxed expression is more notable, especially in the eyes. It does show a bit of branching out, even if only just slightly; after all, there's more than one way to smile, so little attentions to detail like that don't go unnoticed. It helps bring out the "warmth of her smile" that you mention in quote as well, so it lends itself well to the feeling you're trying to establish.
Of course, there's also the things we've come to know and love, that I say every time, but I'll say again. The eyes definitely have a lot of depth to them, and are just genuinely attractive with the way they shine and stand out. And of course, you knew this was coming; despite it being difficult, you've once again established dominance over the mighty hairgasm. The "magic wind" is at it again, because that hair just flows oh so wonderfully, and the ribbons in the hair flow so well with it. But given the perspective, it also helps establish a feeling of motion, that one would expect from turning one's head back. So not only is the flowing hair visually appealing, but helps give it a more dynamic feel, even if only just a little. The flowers and plants overhead establish a nice contrast too, with the greens and pinks and purples making the blonde hair stand out more. It also definitely makes it feel appropriate for the whole "Spring" feeling, which is in full swing now. The fact that your trademark sparkles in the picture are partially green in addition to the standard white help give it that springtime feeling as well, which again, carries a certain feeling of warmth along with it.
Overall, there's definitely a lot going for this one, and it turned out quite wonderfully. It's one of those that's east to stare at, as it's got a lot that makes it visually appealing and easy on the eyes. So regardless if you're not fully happy with it, I think it turned out rather pretty, and is deserving of praise. So good job Lainey!

And it never ceases to amaze me how every tiny little minute detail never males it past you either, most people would probably miss out on the lip size lol, which yes you are very correct in noting that *v*
Though technically it's Autumn (fast approaching Winter now) for me, but then again I've found myself to have a queer tendency to draw images relatable to Northern Hemisphere seasons instead of my own lol
