LOL! It definitely takes practice (and the right person. I've roleplayed for probably close to 15 years now, and only a handful of partners have made it work). It's great for brainstorming though, I will give it that : ) Actually, Volsung and Tulpa started from a roleplay I came up with between me and a friend. That's why I asked ;D

Yeaaahhhhhhhh, I don't think I ever managed to find the right person to RP with, though sometimes I do kick around ideas with one of my friends that I talk about story with, but that's about it!!  

But dude, that's so cool though, some of the best ideas definitely come out of talking/RPing with friends!!
