Just a quick lil doodle of Ian, it was windy yesterday~Ian is from my story Angel Dust :
AD - WakeHe knows the angel's face.
Right here, right now, windtorn and scarborn, a building crumbling around him, crashing down and shattering the floor but he can't move, the angel is watching him, flash of teeth and flash of eye and it all just sings of sky--a sky on fire, burning up, burning out--he can't breathe, he's choking, there's a screaming silence in his ears and something about to burst, break free, explode...
As Ian watches the angel's flesh blooms red then black like bloodstains spreading across cloth, like something burning, a black that dissolves skin and shape and structure and crumbles like sand torn away into a whirlwind storm, like ashes on the breeze only not so simple, only the ashes have a mind of their own, splintering and skittering away like insects taking to first flight--
I know your face, Ian thinks--or speaks, or breathes--as he watches the angel disintegrate, watches the eyes that watch him back. Ian can't breathe, he can't speak, the angel's mo

Honestly for clothing folds, I just practiced drawing it a lot!! It's pretty easy to do in class/at cafes/wherever you go since there's always people around you wearing stuff, keep at it 'till you get a feel for the shapes and then you'll be able to do it!! Good luck!!!

Yeah I like to practice drawing when there are people around too, like in class and in the cafe,, and it does help a lot~ However they change their positions very quickly and I also don't want anyone to notice that I'm drawing them heheh xP

Hahahah, yeah not getting noticed is hard for sure-!! I think the speediness of gesture drawing helps you build up your chops and proficiency, I find it a fun challenge to get yourself to work looser and faster! Good luck!!!!

I love the atmosphere, simple yet very relevant. The wind is very well shown by the sky/clouds, the hair and clothes of the character as well as his pose, seems like he is taking a moment to feel the wind :3 to my mind it is exactly what it looks like when you pause and feel the wind ! Awesome drawing, as always
