Lovely shot. I always enjoy seeing how people make their rose pictures different from the average rose shot.

Very pretty! Looks almost like a dried brown rose... I like the addition of a border, really enhances the picture. Of course the shadowing is the best, very nice contrast.

This is an exceptional rose-shot. It is a somewhat standard and much-used subject, yes, but you managed to make a standard shot into something special. I just love the angle of the light here. You even managed to bring out the texture in the leaves, which is tough in such low light. Is the colour a result of the light you used or an adjustment in photoshop?
