Kane was leader of the hive in Greywilds territory before Varessa created a Kingdom of her own. He was actually a King of his little own kingdom of changelings whos speciallity was flying over anything else. Kane is best example of advanced flying type of changeling. He looks a bit like hes a dragonfly bug changeling. When Varessa started her unification of Greywilds Kane did join her as an ally. Just the fact he was already a leader whenVaressa started her kingdom means he is as old as her which makes him one of most old changelings on the continent. Unlike Varessa Kane had only 3 fushions but his life span somehow was expanded imensly since he hardly look any older than before he meet Varessa. Even Varessa cant make him tell the secret of his long life which remains mystery. Kane did help Varessa take full control over west and north region. Assistance of his changelings was a key to succes in many actions she did plan. After Varessa officially became a queen of Greywilds Kane could not remain a king. But he made a deal with Varessa that he will become her commander and will serve her at her home hive but he will have a bit more freedom that others. Varessa did aggre to that as she did see Kane as a loyal and useful changeling. Kane wasnt the one who wants power over everything but he did like to be respected and listen to so a role of a commander of first division of Greywilds Army was a dream come true for him. He gave control to Varessa under his hive and territory and moved to Nemessis hive making it his new home and becoming the guardian of the center of the kingdom. When Google made his discovery and breakthru in the Amorphics Kane added 2 more fushions to his first one. So he picked the Stealth and Mele to be a great addition to flying ability. Many years later Varessa picked Kane as a perfect partner for her. Since she could only have children very very rarley because of so many fushions she also had to pick a strong partner in hope that the children will survive. It ended with Kane becoming feather of twins Shadow and Specter. Despite Kane almost identical views on outside world as Varessa had, Kane did actually care for his children and saw them as more than just royal changelings to be representants of her power. Kane was cruel and tough for everyone but he did spend a lot of time with his sons when he could under a cover of a standard training he was actually playing with them and he did show them true parent feelings. He was opposed to Varessa idea of letting Argus do experiments on them especially Specter jsut because he was weaker but he could not oppose Varessa even if he would want to. All he could do was just try to make their lives a tiny bit better with whatever abilities he could. Kane was looking calm during "Purge" in the Nemessis Hive but inside he wanted to do things unspeakable to Argus for even suggesting Varessa to put Specter on the list. He did calm down when he did learn that Shadow did show more compasion than he would ever expect from anyone in the kingdom and did escape with Specter to keep him safe. Few weeks after the "Purge" Kane started to make own investigation secretly to make sure that those on the list were really needed to be disposed or just inconvinient. Kane dint like the whole Purge idea to begin with as he did see changelings lives important and only disposable if it would mean to save more in process. Kane did never think to batray Varessa as he did have faith in her and she never broke any deal done with him. But at the same time he had a fear that one day he would get an order from her to fight his sons which would be a biggest problematic choice for him in life

Character:
Kane is strickt, cold, demanding and most certianly he can be cruel. He can rarley show compasion and despite the fact he knows that not every non changeling is the enemy he still belives that Varessa way is right. Kane is also very silent and prefers solitude over everything. Not much is known about him despite the fact he is very loyal and follows set of own rules. When he dosnt want to anwser a question then no one will get anwser from him. Even Varessa. Despite the fact is is actually a husband to Varessa, Kane isnt a king. He was ok with Shadow being next in power after Varessa and when he left Varessa did silently pick Scarlet over Kane. But even after learning that Kane was ok with that as he saw Scarlet actually being a good leader which on top of that was picked by Varessa herself
