My entry for *AlbinoBadger 's contest.Kiska (left) and Liliya (right)
I suppose this goes to the Costume category, but if *AlbinoBadger thinks that it fits the Couple category more then I suppose either is fine (*´・ｖ・) I seriously had been busting my f*in fingers off coloring this agahaha....OTL
Of course, Victorian themed, since it's one of the few things I'm rather confident of ;w;"
And I enjoyed drawing them so much.
Like...too much.
For *AlbinoBadger , I'm sorry if Kiska looks too fierce (I suppose she's acting as an older brother/ daddy/ uncle of sorts here, you know, when someone's taken a liking to her sister/niece/daughter and she just doesn't think this someone was good enough... ;w;") And also if Liliya looks too seductive or something. I did try my best OTL

Sorry for the double post, but I just have to ask: What kind/brand colour pencils do you use?

Eh...I'm not picky at what coloring pencils I use...I had used Faber Castell, Luna, Lyra, Staedtler, Koh-I-Noor...but as for now, I'm using Pelikan (because that's the only brand available when I went to the stationary store months ago, haha).

I see! I'm struggling to find an (affordable) brand that I like that my local craft store carries. Once upon a time I used Prismacolours, but only because my art class had a class set.
I've never heard of Pelikan, though, so I will have to look around next time I'm out shopping!

Nobody ever heard of Pelikan
It a German brand. ( ?´_ゝ｀) And ah, yeah. I'm a college student who had to pay for my own tuition fee, so I'm trying to find the most affordable art-grade coloring pencil I can get. (゜-゜) I mean...not school-quality, something better, though professional-quality pencils are always expensive, haha. And I've used Prismacolor once, but it's not easy to find around here. D:
I think I'd really like to try Conté, though ;w;

ADFGSDHJ it looks fantastic ._. I love all the detail in the outfits! And the shading is lovely! I think you captured both their personalities wonderfully

I'm glad you like it~ ^_^ I enjoyed drawing and coloring them myself, haha.
It was such a pleasure. I was thinking and sketching some other ideas for the costume category, but this one ended up being the one I like the most so I finished the sketching for this and invested days in coloring [and recoloring, because once I made mistake and color Kiska's hair all dark brown D:]

It's no trouble at all :'D It took time and effort, yes (especially to get the pose and chair look right...aarhh) but I enjoyed every bit of it~ You've hosted a really awesome contest, you know (´･u･`) I bet everyone else is having fun with their entries as well!
That contest was my second one ever, and I was just happy everyone's entries were awesome ;w; Even though I didn't get a lot of entries, ahaha...
