oh, reminds me of seeing my friend get pulled over the falls, funny as shit - we were paddling out and all of a sudden i hear behind me "Oh my Gawd----" all I know is 5 minutes later I saw him flattened out on the beach XD..
I've had too many good times at this beach... Yeah tried crossing surfboards (to make a platform like 50 feet out from the line up) when a 15 foot Outside wave came up (on a 6-10 foot day) I could see it from standing up, and freaking out pulled out my board and started paddling, my friend never knew what hit him and I cleared it by a foot.... sad thing was it crashed and re-formed before the line-up at about 8-10 feet, almost like the ocean was just fucking with us.

i woulda loved to catch that beast, but alas, I had too much momentum away from it and barely cleared it..... lol i remember sitting inside and always seeing this bigger (well 5 foot, but bigger than the 2-3 footers we were riding) outside and no one bothering to go for it.. so for the lols i paddled out and soon after caught a huge one... 10 minutes later I paddled back out and there was 8 people there waiting for the next one XD

guess its the same everywhere, at least on the east coast we have less crowded breaks except on big and good days all the quacks come out.....
