This is by far my FAVORITE piece I've made in probably...3 years. I'm SO FREAKING excited about how it turned out, and I think it means a big change for my art as a whole.I love love loved working on this piece. It kind of developed into something way more interesting than what I'd originally intended. I get so excited when a piece takes on a personality of its own, it's like a struggle to put it down because I just want to see where it's going.
Pen and ink on Bristol paper. About 9"x10"

The black and white contrast is excellent! I love how the little white bubbles are clustered very close together near the sun and then diffuse along the rays. AND THOSE FLOWERS!

Woah! How awesome drawing!!! It's beautiful! I admire your patience to carefully paint the strands of hair leaving the precise white space in between. And the flowers are gorgeous! What I like the most is the little detail of the tatoo near her eye and the ΒΏmandala? pattern in the sun ^w^
