Description My 3rd submission to . The monthly topic for May was to Illustrate something from Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach. (I was hoping for BFG, which I love)

As a matter of fact I actually never read this book so I have been putting this off to kind of late, not knowing what to draw. Then I decided to read a synopsis and there was this part were the worm acted Bird Bait for a flock of 500 seagulls to lift the peach with strings of spider web! I love seagulls so I decided to illustrate this, with a little twist of my own. Came out pretty much how I wanted it.

It's been ages since I read this book, but Roald Dahl will always have a spot in my heart.

Ha ha, I'd forgotten all about that scene. Very whimsical. I like it.

I suppose I'll keep an eye out around the 2ndhand books (to poor frankly to buy new ones) and actually read it. I read a few quotes and such and it seems to be such a clever book!
