I like this design and take on Amy. I mean, in the past, she was just a wallflower (yet I liked her anyway). Many a Sonic fan hated her, for they thought her useless. Hopefully, this will win over the Sonic fans from the old days, as well as rake in the new ones.
Also, she's playable which is something many (if not all) fans want!

Not as annoying as Sonic X. Besides, she's kinda more mature now and I heard she is not gonna fawn over Sonic constantly anymore.
But to tell you the truth I do kinda have mixed feelings as well.
