I was lost at sea
A dream
Of a land of tranquility
The blanket of stars
That was my home
Carved into my skin
So hopelessly unknown
To me it was paradise
Until I was
So rudely awakened
My eyes shone like ice
Corruption, fear
Others were apprehensive
Of my sudden
Appearance
So I slipped away
Not really ready
The eyes on me werenβt kind
Or soft
My dark skin, my pale eyes
Trails of light down my shoulders and sides
