Description
As we walked down quickly to flee from the cold, the scenery cleared a bit showing us blazing colors in the distance.
Here, beneath the Queen of Ersfjord, is was already nightfall. A time cold and still, beyond the sunset.

View from the feet of Brosmetinden, southwest to the opening of Ersfjord into the ocean.

The mighty mountain on the left is Skamtinden (882 m), the last northern Ersfjord mountain.
Behind her and beyond the fjord, the southern Ersfjorden mountain range are clearly seen.
Directly behind Skamtinden, part of the peak Styrmannen (817 m) can still be seen.
The next one is Breitinden (843 m), between and behind is Rundtinden (694 m), part of Vasstinden.
Next in the cloud is the small Rypholtinden (656 m) and the much larger Bremnestinden (785 m).
Further Bremnestinden descends towards its cape and behind it part of Høgøya is still visible.

Beyond, on the horizon, a distant epic mountain range is faintly visible under sunset clouds.
These mountains are part of the picturesque Senja, about 30 km away from where we stand.
