Interesting effect with the manicured nails-it belies the grimy nature then contrasted by the flowers.. idk if it works as well as it could without the manicured nails.

first time i saw it i thought "bride"
and i thought "the bokeh tells the story of this picture..."
but then i started to wonder what that story is... and then the dirt on her fingers made me go oooooooooh
very nice hinting of an untold and un-elucidated sad story. a hint of "corpse bride"

This is an outstanding shot. I absolutely love the contrast and edge to it. It's as if genuine beauty has been inexplicably drawn from dirt and grit. A profound piece.

This reminds me of a piece that would be done for a Grapes of Wrath type of portrait. I wish the nails weren't manicured, more natural looking... but you've already gotten comments on that so...
