I love this, Gigeresque, Dune-esque (I don't know if you've ever read Dune, specifically the later novels, but this very much reminds me of what Leto, God Emperor of Dune would've looked like

Wow, awesome job painting this. This is a very cool piece. I like how it looks painted but looks like a photograph portrait, the graininess I think helps with that look. Great details all around, especially on the "face" region. While this creature looks happy and not that scary, I can imagine that this is a very bad thing indeed, as if it were to crack the smile a little wider it'd show a row of razor sharp teeth waiting to devour you, and that the bone structure lets it expand it's jaw like a snake to be able to swallow you whole. Haha, it also kinda looks like a painted fist & arm making a shape of a face & creature, but that's just me. Great for just practice, I can't wait till you bust out the full blown pieces.
