Nevertheless, i only know Kamandy because of the wikis. I have so many comics in my house and i am not up to collect old comics from pre-crisis age (some stories are very... boring)

Well some older stories are boring, and paced differently, but to explain from your first question the reason Kamandi doesn't have a beard is because he is a teenager. He was raised in a doomsday bunker by his grandfather, but his grandfather dies, and he ventures out into the world. He's learned how to survive and thrive in this future world.

Well, he looks older because of his chin and square face, so i was confused... In Lima (Peru), we have a lot people who are "chatos" o "short stature" (1.60-1.70). I guess America male stature is something about 1.80 for adults (i could be wrong, though)

Ah yes, our average height is close to 1.80 meters.Β
Well Jack Kirby drew Kamandi very heroic, which meant a big chin, and strong features, even for a young character.Β
Thank you for expanding my knowledge of things from around the world.Β

I like the style. Interesting why he has long hair and no beard at all. Due to his background and military skills, i guess long hair help him with extra perception (like indians from u.s. in Vietnam. Some articles in English and Spanish tell about it), but the beard could be very distracting for him.

Thanks. Kirby did the first 33 issues or so, he really had that great Brave and the Bold appearance, no matter how short. I am glad you liked what I did here, was trying mimic Kirby's style, think I did pretty good.Β
