So nice! I started to ask if the northern part of Alabama has as many cave systems as northern Florida does as I thought they would make a nice subject and from this oasis it looks likely to have some very nearby. But then I did a little research and found that is probably one of the most prolific areas in the country to find naturally occurring sinkholes.Β Β

I also happened to notice a place I would like to visit myself that is about 50 miles WSW of Decatur called Dismals Canyon (of all names) but is supposed to be known for its waterfalls and bioluminescent glowworms! I would love to see what you might capture there
