FULL VIEW PLEASES!!!yesh!! it's finished, didn't really turn out how i wanted but never mind.
from left to right- Yazoo, Kadaj and Loz from final fantasy 7 - advent children
about 4 hours drawing and another 3 fixing it on the computer after the scanner had finished with it.
derwent pencils- 5h and 4b and lots of graphite

Wow, I love this one, and I love Advent Children.
Though Kadaj's right eye (his right) is kinda off. But still, I really like it. Teach me to shade ^^"

yeah, i know, i had a few problems with this piece, i think i tried changing that eye too many times but after rubbing it out continuously the paper wouldn't let me draw properly over it anymore 
lol i'd teach you, but i wouldn't know where to begin XD i could make a tutorial i suppose...

Yeah, I hate it when it does that. Eventually, my pencil wont even go over it anymore, so I'm like 'Doh!'
I'm still a little...iffy about my shading. It's...okay.

i think your shading is good, maybe just try to do darker shades so it will make a greater contrast and look more realistic. and try adding lots of texture to your pieces too

no, i mean as in using the same pencil... say 2b/4b and then using that to create the tones from light to dark and then going over that with texture using the same pencil or darker to create texture (for example, if it's a dragon then draw scales and lots of small lines) after that you can use a small rubber to create little highlights giving it a really good realistic look

haha yeah, i thought you wouldn't understand, it's really difficult to explain techniques in writing... this is why i should do a tutorial, i just don't have the time though...
you can buy pencil rubbers (they look like pencils but have rubber inside instead of lead) makes it great for rubbing out small areas, either that or a normal rubber will do fine. haha yeah try using normal pencils although i don't think it makes that much of a difference...
