Description She is the other half to the painting "Him". She is 16 x 24 oil on wrapped canvas. She will be shipped to my aunt in Philadelphia.

There is a legend about tigers and lions. Lions were biblically crowned the king of all animals, and especially the big cats. But there is a tale that the tiger, although being larger than the lion and maybe arguably stronger, was humble enough to know the responsibility and gave it to the lion.

I made her female for a reason. Although it's changing, or I should say trying to change, with gender equality and such. But the female was to always back the male up and never to take the spot light. Being the base for the family and taking care of the household and offspring.

So the female tiger takes on the duality, although being strong the ability to give birth, and turn a house into a home, she lets her male take the credit. To give up is to love.

I hope I don't offend anyone, this is just my views. I'm spiritually oriented, and not very often do I really show it. But "Him" is in my mom's house, who is the baby of the family. "Her" will go to my aunt, the woman who raised my mother, who helped my Mom be the Leo she is today.

Sorry for the poor quality, I have an old IPhone xD haha!

I'm late to comment on this. Beautiful painting! I like how those whiskers came out. And that fur looks fluffy.
