Graphite pencil drawing of Karelle, size A4, on Bristol board.I owe my thanks to Sifu sifu.deviantart.com/ for allowing the use of his photo Waiting for him as the reference image for this drawing. I must apologise to Sifu, however, for cropping his photo, but I wanted to concentrate on Karelle’s dramatically lit face.

Thank you for the comment and for adding it to your favourites. There was a point half way through the drawing, when it was only lightly shaded, when I doubted that I could reproduce the lighting effect convincingly.
