Full body Reference

Name of Species: Disjointed Dionaea

Genders: About eight percent are female, twenty are male.

Heights: A full grown one can be up to ten feet tall give or take a few feet. The younger ones are as small as three feet.

Habitat: They are usually found in dark caves.

Description of the Species: The upper half of this creature is human like, the bottom half a lot like a spider. Most of the species look similar. The only real difference to them is the colors on their legs. Most have dark red 'knees'. The color on the knees can be around the red or brown area. The main color on the species is black. Their skin is often times speckles with the color of their spider like features. They are usually very pale skinned on the upper half of their body, almost a sickly pale. Disjointed Dionaea's are pointed out by their broken features.

They are born with human like torsos, but no arms attached to that. To add to the 'Disjointed' traits, they have a strange appearance. It looks as though their necks are broken. They do not have hair on their heads or bodies nor do they have visible mouths on their faces. Their mouths are on their chest and abdomen. Their mouths resemble a Venus Flytrap, thus how they got their name. When their mouths open a sort of acid it let out. it is not a strong acid, it merely irritates skin and slightly burns.

The mouth on the abdomen opens up only when they have prey. Inside is four tentacles that are used to grasp on struggling prey while they use their venom to numb them. The tentacles are about the size of a normal human's arm. They are not slick like an octopus tentacle, more dry and scaly like a snake or reptile. The females of this species are a bit larger than the males. They have a
larger abdomen and instead of four tentacles, they hold six.

They have poisonous front limbs. That is the only place they have venom. A Disjointed Dionaea does not use poison often, for it will hurt them as well. Using the venom will leave them exhausted. Due to having poisonous front limbs, they keep them folded and use their other six legs to do things.

This creature only has one visible eye, though it is not very good at seeing. Due to this they will some times attack their own kind. The younger ones often times will not last long due to being mistaken as young humans. The species is a cannibalistic one. They will eat each other and people who are either sick or weak.

Disjointed Dionaea are a creature that depend greatly on hearing. Due to their bad eyesight they listen for creatures nearing their caves. They hate loud noises. They are often triggered if their is a loud noise somewhere near them and that will cause them to attack.

Personality of Species: The personality is very different depending on the gender of the creature. Females are usually more vicious than the males. She not hesitate to attack someone, even if it is her mate or her children. Anything to survive she will do. They are not trusting creatures. It will take some time for a female to gain the trust of another.

Males on the other hand are more hesitant to attack. If something enters his cave, he will often ties draw back into the shadows and wait. They are not as cruel and vicious as the females are. They will try to protect others that are in danger is they can. Males are also very loyal. If one is saved he will stand by the savior and protect them with his life.

Powers: They are poisonous and have amazing hearing. It is likely one will spot prey from a long ways away. They can hear heartbeats when someone is really close by.

Notable sounds: They wheeze a lot due to some breathing problems. They usually live all their life with these problems due to the angle of their necks. They let out some gasping noises. When this species talk, they speak in quiet tones. Their voice is breathy and usually strained. They can not speak english (Well, they can not speak any real language) but they can learn the language. They speak in noises to one and other, some screams, hisses, and wheezes.

Special Skills: They are very good at hiding despite their large size. They will use the darkness to camouflage. They are also very good at keeping hold of a meal.

Name of Character: This specific one is named Krieg

Gender of the Character: Male

Description of the Character: Krieg is about eight feet from head to tip of his legs when he is standing normally. If his legs are stretched to their full height he is about ten feet. He is a whitish gray color on his upper half, specks of black on his neck, cheeks, around the mouth and waist. The knees on his legs are a dull brown and the tips of his front legs are a very light shade of gray. The teeth on his mouth are black and so is the inside of his mouth. His eye is a orange yellow color with specks of white near the pupil. Two segments of one of his back legs are missing due to a slight fight with one of his own kind.

Personality of Character: Krieg is a very timid creature. Like most of his kind he does not like loud noises. He draws back a lot. He is not easy to speak with due to some timidness. Even though he is almost blind, he loves to watch the rain. He loves the smell and feeling of rain as well. Sometimes if he is stressed out he will have small panic attacks. The sound of soft singing or music will calm him down usually.

He is very distant and has been most of his life. He has no real idea what 'friends' are or what a 'family' is. Unlike most of his species he has not found a mate. Most of the males are less timid than he is.
