Yeah, it was definitely more of a "for fun" sort of thing X3
I think I monitor the content of what I put on here so hard that it makes it look like I never do anything, when in truth, I draw stuff at home all the time, I just never post it because I don't see it as something serious, or worthy of being taken serious, more appropriately I guess...
I've had an abnormal spike in commission/ request type stuff lately and I figured might as well...lol
I'm not gonna post every brain-fart of a doodle I do because nobody cares about that crap, but I think if it is something that goes through the entire process from thought to fully colored finished product, there's no harm in letting people see I guess -shrugs- X3
I need more practice just drawing anyways, that tends to be my weakest area I think...

Well i want your brain-fart doodles aswell! It would be cool if you made a separate account with doodles, wips and comissions etc or put them in a folder where they are separated from your artsy stuff. Just saying xD

I'm always at a loss for what to do...there's a way to submit without it going into an inbox where everyone can see, but Im always town between "Do I want them to see or no?" and then my concluding thought is always if you wouldnt want anyone to see, then you probably don't need to post it on here.. :I No sense in it if its not quality work
but I have entertained the idea many times..

Me and Erik started watching it just to see what all the fuss was about, and surprisingly (and I dont give my kudos out very often) its actually...pretty watchable, lol
I wouldn't call myself a "fan" or anything, but its a pretty good show if I do say so myself :I
I did the same thing everyone else does when they first hear about it with the "Oh god, a little girl show about ponies and rainbows and unicorns...why..." but as you keep watching it, its more thoughtful of a show than you would initially think. Theres a lot of emphasis on mythology, and the characters (for the most part) are really grounded and break a lot of the cliches put on by most kids shows...but enough of that, lol
Alot of the fan base scares the crap out of me though...obsession is never attractive with anything, but theres something about it being with a show about ponies that makes it abnormally humorous, I must say XD

Ha ha, don't get me wrong it definitely has some corny moments (especially toward the end of the 2nd and 3rd season because the original creator had to leave) but yeah, I would definitely give it a watch...what do you have to lose! XD

Lauren you know that band Mewithoutyou that you told me about? You know that album including "King beetle on a coconut estate"? I know you said you didn't like the rest of their music, but i thought that album was great! Ten Stories is also awesome, though very tragic. The lyrics are incredible sometimes.. i love to listen to them and read about them on songmeanings and such xD in some songs though, the lyrics can go slightly overboard. Especially in the earlier albums, one could easily feel that the singer needs to vent something out xD thanks for telling me about this awesome band.

Quite honestly, I haven't listened to all of their stuff yet, I only listened to what was available on Spotify, which turns out, isn't much -shrugs-
I should probably try to get ahold of some other albums from them, but if they have any more gems like King Beetle, then holy cow...XD
Even after all this time it still hasn't gotten old, which is a bit unusual for me

I actually heard of them from a guy who commissioned me, they were on his facebook feed

I recommend litsening to the "It's All Crazy! It's All False! It's All A Dream! It's Allright (2009)" and the "Ten Stories (2012)" albums. Then there are five more albums which goes back all the way to 2000, but the futher you go to the millennium shift, the more angry the singer seems to become xD "Catch For Us The Foxes (2004)" has a good mix of their old and their new, which could be nice to investigate as well. Though even in the newest albums, the singer still does his screaming from time to time.

I'm so glad you like it -sigh of relief- Theres always that moment of "I wonder if (fill in the blank) is going to bother them?" I know it's not in usual MLP style, but I thought it might be refreshing to see your character done in a different way, plus I actually had a bit of fun researching the mythology of unicorns and all that, got my long suppressed interest in mythical creatures churning again XD
