I decided to try out a bit different colouring technique than usual, and this is what I came up with.I drew this with color pencils, and finished it with white gel pen and photoshop.

Thanks. I hope that I'll be able improve my colouring technique furter from this one. This is one of my first colourings to be done with just colour pencils, and I still have a lot to learn.

Your techinique with color pencil is superior to mine. If you check out my work you will see some nice line drawings. The rest of my work is either photograph or 3D computer art. I have been asked by another artist to do some work for him. You will be my mentor for coloring it in. He wants a picture of some characters he has created. Its going to be something imaginitive.

Heh heh. Maybe you should pick up someone better than me as your mentor. You'll do a lot better if you use the best as your inspiration.
For example, emperpep is really skilled at using colour pencils, and you'll do a lot better if you follow the working prosess of an artist like that. Besideds I don't have my own internet connection, so I rarely get chances to comment and reply.

I love how this looks!
I love her seductive pose and expression, as well as the incredibly well-shaded hair. The folds in the sheets and her clothes definitely appeal to me the most, I mean, the design looks amazing and the details are astounding but not too many. It's very pleasing to the eye. The only issues I might have are that her left hand looks a little flat (it looks like it might strain the fingers holding a rose like that), and her neck seems a little thick, but it's not really a problem. It certainly works very well that way too.

Yeah, I'm quite happy with this drawing, even though it has its flaws. Her left hand certainly could've been done better, and I've got to admit that I tried to cover up her neck with hair, so that it wouldn't look too thick.

Since the hair is a little wavy, you could've had some of it go up over the neck and sort of cover it up. I don't know how that would look, but that's all I got.
