"Oh Pinkie, you so silly. You triggered the apocalypse again."I can't believe it's already been a month since the last time I drew something...
You know, I have actually never liked drawing Pinkie due to her hair, but for some reson, I got this urge to draw not only one, but THREE variations of her... lolwut!?
As you probably recognize, the one on the foreground is your typical Pinkie Pie. The one on the middle-back is Pinkamena, who's the depressed variation of her. And the flying pegasus is Surprise, who is basically the prototype version of Pinkie.
As always, this was drawn with water soluble color pencils, and finished with white gel pen.

I love the dynamic between all the different "Pinkies" here, and how great the expressions are.
I actually went through depression for 10+ years, and weirdly, this drawing is an excellent illustration of how it can sometimes feel! XD

I dunno where the idea came from actually. Just kinda popped to my head. Maybe it's got some inspiration from some old unfinished works though, like this for example. lavosvsbahamut.deviantart.com/...
And to answer your comment above, I can't say an exact time to how long this took, since this pic's one and a half years old already. Maybe a week or so. You can go through the first comments though. There might be others asking the time taken, when this picture was still in more recent memory.

I like this art. It says much of Pinkie's implied and known past, in a way. From conceptual creation with Surprise to story elements of her split personality, it says it all.
At a distance Pinkie's tear looks alright, but up close it becomes aparent that it is not attached to the corner of her eye. If that object sliding down her cheek is not a tear, then I don't know what it is.
This deserves a text mustache!!!!

Well, Surprise isn't her prototype. Surprise is a pony from Gen 1, the dark ages that they were.
She looked like this:

Yes, I know that Surprise's a G1 pony.
It's just that Lauren Faust drew pinkie as a pegasus in the initial scetches, before she was turned into an earth pony in order to balance out the main cast.
The fans then named the pegasus Pinkie "Surprise", after the G1 pony. So technically "G4 Surprise" is Pinkie before she became Pinkie.

I found this somewhere on the internet forever ago (I think mylittlebrony on memebase...) and I saved it because it was just too awesome, and ever since then, I've been on a nonstop quest to find the original artist, and image. And I finally found it! This is amazing, awesome job. :3

2012 doomsday is a mixure or suprises, depression, and earth will be destroyed, like the fourth wall.
(Though unless Pinkie, Pinkamena, and Surprise DOES somehow became real, I don't really think the doomsday would happen

Though I don't personally believe in 2012. If I remember correctly, they mayan calendar didn't have leap days/years (or whatever). So if the end of the world were to happen due to mayan predictions, it would already have happened.
